Top Tips and Tricks for Cleaning

Having been stuck at home during COVID, we have compiled our favorite ways to take care of our space.

Clean the microwave:

Put a soapy sponge in the microwave for 1 minute and let cool for another minute. The steam from the sponge will soften any food splatters and the warm sponge can be used to wipe away the mess easily.

Disinfect your computer accessories:

Use a toothbrush to brush out any dust and debris. Clean the toothbrush and dip in alcohol based sanitizer to get in between your keys, clicker and scroller

Sticky tape stuck to walls:

Use a hairdryer to heat up the tape so it can be easily removed in one piece

Use half a lemon dipped in some course salt:

This can be used to clean anything that needs disinfecting or a little abrasion for example, shower screens, wooden chopping boards, and is also perfect for grease removal.

Polishing:

Rub your taps and handles with some wax paper after they have been cleaned to maintain the shine and prevent water spots.

Pet hair removal:

Whilst wearing a rubber or latex glove, run your palm across your pet’s favorite couch to ball- up and collect loose hairs.
